Marty Friedman – Roxian Theatre, McKees Rocks, PA

After not playing the United States in 4 years, we were able to catch Marty Friedman and his band open for Queensryche on the Digital Noise tour.

Marty, known for his amazing six stringed abilities was joined on stage by guitarist Naoki Morrioka, bassist Wakazaemon. Friedman’s drummer, Chargeeeeee, seemed to truly be loving the stage and audience attention. Marty’s, who’s love for Kiss was most noticeable in his platform boots, was well received by the crowd and he looked genuinely appreciative. The set seemed almost too short and I would love to see Friedman and band headline here in the states, sometime soon.
