With Devora’s dark western dreamscapes, Die Sexual’s seductive electronic storm, and TKK’s glittering collision of funk, industrial and disco, the night was a celebration of rhythm, rebellion and pure decadent fun. Mongolian folk-metal band, The HU, are currently on the road supporting metal giants Iron Maiden. However, they made sure to make the most of their time while in North America and squeezed in 9 headline shows of their own, with The Funeral Portrait as openers. Buffalo, NY lucked out to be on that short list of dates.

Canadian punk-rock band, Billy Talent, stopped in Buffalo, NY on their recent summer jaunt. Out in support of Crisis of Faith, their sixth release, the show sold out almost as quickly as it was announced. Fans, from both sides of the border, filled one of the newest venues in town, Electric City.
