Wednesday night marked only the second time Kingdom Come has performed in Buffalo, NY. The last time being in 1988, on the Monsters of Rock Festival. The band has gone through a line up change since then, as well. However, their passion to perform and make new music was very evident.

Canadian punk-rock band, Billy Talent, stopped in Buffalo, NY on their recent summer jaunt. Out in support of Crisis of Faith, their sixth release, the show sold out almost as quickly as it was announced. Fans, from both sides of the border, filled one of the newest venues in town, Electric City.

A great Canadian invasion happened last thursday at Buffalo, NY newest outdoor venue, Outer Harbor Live at Terminal B over looking the waterfront. Headstones co-headlined the event with Canadian royalty, The Tea Party. The Trews opened the show and DJ Human Kabab was responsible for getting the crowd revved up between sets.

Geoff Tate always delivers – always – and this night was no different. A few band members may have been switched up, yet that did not stop Geoff Tate from delivering the Big Rock Show Hits as touted. Tate has always been a very solid powerful vocalist and performer, so I make sure to never miss a show when he comes to the area. A packed venue proved I was not the only one that feels that way.

It was a chilly night in Buffalo, NY when The 69 Eyes played the Rec Room. It was the first time in their nearly 35 year history, they performed in the historical city. Fondly referred to as the Helsinki Vampires, it was no surprise the venue was packed with a crowd mostly clad in black leather, vinyl, and tons of heavy black eyeliner.

Return of the Sinner USA tour stopped in Buffalo, NY on March 13, 2024. Buffalo’s Town Ballroom became host to the event 2 days previously. The change of venues did not deter the fans from coming out to show their love and support for metal and more over for legendary guitarist KK Downing’s new band, aptly named KK’s Priest. Currently on tour in support of the band’s 2023 release, The Sinner Rides Again. Along for the ride is the never disappointing, LA Guns, and the ever enchanting, Burning Witches.

Buffalo, NY was the opening night for the 3rd leg of the Life is but a Dream North American tour featuring Avenged Sevenfold, Poppy and Sullivan King. The KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo was the first real life show after releasing their first VR concert a few weeks earlier. Nearly 10 years since having last played the area, fans of all ages filed into the arena excited to to see their favorite band. They lined up at the merch booths to make sure they took home a memory of the event with them.

What started out as a wildly warm day in late February for Buffalo, NY quickly turned into near white out conditions later in the evening due to a fast approaching lake effect storm did not prevent fans of Saint Asonia and Black Stone Cherry. The bands were scheduled to play a co-headline show at the historic Town Ballroom in Buffalo’s theatre district.
