Judas Priest 50 Metal Years Tour, 2nd leg
Judas Priest just fired up their second leg of the 50 Metal Years tour and we caught it in Albany, NY at the MVP Arena. Queensryche was direct support again, after playing a few dates of the first leg of the tour.
Halford and company hit the stage in Albany ready to rocka rolla. Being only the second night of the new leg of the 50 Metal Years tour, the crowd was in for some unexpected surprises. The band had decided to dig deep and air out some long shelved fan favorites for this celebratory tour. They spent the next 90+ minutes dusting off fan favorites like Genocide and Steeler with such force that it was hard to believe they had not been played live in years. One constant that stayed the same was Metal ambassador, Halford, riding his Harley out on stage for the intro to Hellbent For Leather. The band sounded and looked amazing in fact, dare I say, better than they did during the first leg in 2021. Judas Priest is one of those bands I look forward to seeing every time they tour.
