Dead Daisies Celebrate Ten Years in Hamilton, Ontario
Hard to believe the Dead Daisies have been making albums for the past 10 years. They decided to release a Best Of album to salute the anniversary and thus a tour to celebrate the album.
We headed up to The Studio in Hamilton, Ontario to catch the show and deliver to you the photos. One of the things the Daisies are known for is having quite a few members, a supergroup of sorts. Guitarist, Davis Lowy, started the band as a hobby and recruited some amazing talent along the way. The current line up includes, Doug Aldrich on guitar, Michael Devin on bass, Brian Tichy on drums and John Corabi is back on lead vocals.
I would say the intimate event was due in part to the show being booked on a Tuesday evening and quite possibly the fact that they had just played a number of shows all in southern Ontario, within a short distance of each other. However, the band did not let the light crowd hinder their performance in the least.
Having just released a video for their cover of Whitesnake’s classic, Slide It In, they decided to play that as the encore and the crowd ate it up!
