What better way to support an unplugged album than by performing an 80 minute set – unplugged, for the most part. Judas Priest ended the first leg of their Invincible Shield tour ended in Syracuse, NY and we were there. With the area experiencing severe thunderstorms throughout the day and evening, even the gods seem to have taken a break to enjoy the Metal Gods performance. The storms broke just long enough for those that gathered to watch openers Sabaton and most of Judas Priest’s set before starting back up.

It was a chilly night in Buffalo, NY when The 69 Eyes played the Rec Room. It was the first time in their nearly 35 year history, they performed in the historical city. Fondly referred to as the Helsinki Vampires, it was no surprise the venue was packed with a crowd mostly clad in black leather, vinyl, and tons of heavy black eyeliner.

Return of the Sinner USA tour stopped in Buffalo, NY on March 13, 2024. Buffalo’s Town Ballroom became host to the event 2 days previously. The change of venues did not deter the fans from coming out to show their love and support for metal and more over for legendary guitarist KK Downing’s new band, aptly named KK’s Priest. Currently on tour in support of the band’s 2023 release, The Sinner Rides Again. Along for the ride is the never disappointing, LA Guns, and the ever enchanting, Burning Witches.

Buffalo, NY was the opening night for the 3rd leg of the Life is but a Dream North American tour featuring Avenged Sevenfold, Poppy and Sullivan King. The KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo was the first real life show after releasing their first VR concert a few weeks earlier. Nearly 10 years since having last played the area, fans of all ages filed into the arena excited to to see their favorite band. They lined up at the merch booths to make sure they took home a memory of the event with them.
