High energy rock filled the Rockin’ Buffalo Saloon as Bad Marriage tore through a crowd pleasing set packed with catchy originals, classic covers, and undeniable chemistry. Just when it felt like the night had peaked, a surprise onstage moment pushed the night into unforgettable territory.
Boston powerhouse Bad Marriage delivered a high energy headlining set at the Rockin’ Buffalo Saloon, turning the intimate West Seneca bar into a packed and roaring rock room. Frontman Jonny Paquin led the charge alongside guitarist Mike Fitz, former Tesla guitarist Tommy Skeoch, bassist Todd Boisvert, and drummer Michael Delaney, a lineup that radiates chemistry and classic hard rock confidence.
As expected, the night was stacked with catchy hooks, sharp musicianship, and a laid back but electric vibe. The band kept the momentum rolling with crowd pleasers like “Ready Aim Fire” and “Match Made in Hell “, the title track from their upcoming album, which Fitz jokingly described as a reflection of his relationship with Paquin. Covers of Tesla’s “Rock Me to the Top” and Saxon’s “Denim and Leather” fit seamlessly alongside originals “Knock 3 More Times” and fan favorite “Ol’ School Stereo”, keeping the room singing along and fully locked in from start to finish.
Familiar faces in the crowd did not go unnoticed, including Skeoch’s former Tesla bandmate Brian Wheat, tucked away in a side booth alongside former W.A.S.P. guitarist Chris “Mean Man” Holmes. The real surprise came when Holmes joined the band onstage for a powerful rendition of Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World”, a rare moment that sent the room into a frenzy and gave the night a lasting sense of occasion.
The surprise carried extra weight, as Skeoch, Holmes, and Wheat have recently joined forces with original Saliva frontman Josey Scott for an upcoming project called Terminal, making the night feel like more than just another stop on the calendar.
