Boy George & Culture Club bring the party to Lewiston, NY
The British pop band was the last show of the summer season at Artpark in Lewiston, NY. The crowd was looking forward to an evening of nostalgia and the bands did not let anyone down. The air was full of fun and energy on what couldn’t have been a better summer night for an outdoors event. Culture Club is comprised of original members; George on vocals, guitarist Roy Hay and bassist Mikey Craig nowadays.
George was donning a signature one of a kind oversized outfit in bold graphics and a pair of white sneakers with the words ‘TRUTH’ in black letters. He is well known for his style and time has not slowed him down any.
They played a mix of brand new songs and classic hits as well as few covers. The banter in between songs was entertaining as well. They seemed to have a great report with one another after all these years as well as with the new members, that include 3 back-up singers.
